Athletics' Adam Rosales: Out of Saturday's lineup

Rosales is out of Saturday's lineup against the Astros, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports.

Analysis:

He was hit on the finger by a pitch in Friday's game, but manager Bob Melvin said Rosales did not need X-rays. Chad Pinder will start at shortstop and hit eighth against righty Joe Musgrove.
