Braves' Bartolo Colon: Escapes with no-decision Friday
Colon (1-2) allowed six runs on 10 hits and two walks over five innings while striking out five in a no-decision against the Brewers on Friday.
Analysis:
The veteran righty was on the hook for the loss before the Braves scored six runs in the final three innings to produce a wild 10-8 victory. Colon has had two strong starts and three clunkers so far this season to saddle him with a 5.59 ERA, but his 7.1 K/9 through 29 innings is actually his highest mark since 2011. He'll look to get back on track Wednesday at home against the Mets.
