Watch: Rangers' Gallo takes a seat, still throws out baserunner

Joey Gallo does not want to be unseated at the Texas Rangers' hot corner.
While his bat has understandably drawn a majority of the praise, Gallo made a strong case for his defense in the second inning of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Diving to field a weak grounder off the bat of Andrelton Simmons, Gallo had no time to stand up in order to field the play, so he saved a few crucial seconds by simply throwing it from his rear.
