Tigers' JaCoby Jones: Stitches removed Friday

Jones had the stitches in his lip removed Friday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

With the stitches removed, Jones should be good to head out on a rehab assignment. The Tigers want him to see live pitching in the minors so he can clear any mental hurdles stemming from the hit-by-pitch that resulted in a lip laceration.
