Brewers' Eric Thames: Back in action Friday
Thames (hamstring) is back in Friday's lineup against the Braves, MLB Network Radio reports.
Analysis:
Manager Craig Counsell referred to the hamstring injury that forced Thames out of Wednesday's game as "a very minor issue." Thames may not be quite 100 percent, but he is at least healthy enough to swing his white hot bat against righty Bartolo Colon in the opener of a three-game series at Miller Park. He can be deployed in all formats.
