Watch: Lindor surprises himself with game-winning, 456-foot HR

Ken Blaze / USA TODAY Sports

Francisco Lindor knows what he's capable of. Or so he thought.

The Cleveland Indians shortstop came up clutch once again for his side Thursday against the Houston Astros, depositing an 84-mph changeup from reliever Chris Devenski into the right-field stands in the seventh. That gave Cleveland a 4-3 lead it held onto for the rest of the game.

While home runs are nothing new to Lindor (he has six in 21 games already this season), being able to mash baseballs 456 feet is. When he was informed of the mammoth distance of his two-run shot, he sounded surprised.

"Really?" he said postgame, according to Cleveland.com's Zack Meisel. "I'm not supposed to be hitting the ball that far."

While Lindor might not be used to crushing baseballs this hard yet, we're sure it won't take Cleveland's fans long to adapt.
