Padres' Jabari Blash: Takes seat Thursday

Blash is not in the lineup Thursday against the Diamondbacks, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Blash will head to the bench after starting in each of the last three games since being recalled from El Paso on Tuesday. Allen Cordoba will take over in left field, though Blash should continue to see the bulk of starts with Travis Jankowski (foot) on the disabled list.
