Dodgers' Cody Bellinger: Slides down to eighth Thursday
Bellinger is batting eighth and playing left field Thursday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Analysis:
The lefty-hitting recent call-up was bumped down in the order as they face left-handed Giants hurler Matt Moore. This probably will be a common occurrence for Bellinger, as the Dodgers want him in the lineup -- especially as long as Joc Pederson (groin) is on the disbaled list -- regardless of the pitcher.
