Diamondbacks' David Peralta: Reaches base in all five plate appearances
Peralta went 2-for-2 with three walks and a pair of runs scored in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Padres.
Analysis:
Opposing pitchers have had no luck retiring Peralta of the late, with the outfielder turning in multiple hits in seven of his last eight games and compiling a .632 on-base percentage during that span. The 29-year-old will certainly cool down before long, but his fortuitous position in a high-powered Diamondbacks lineup figures to prop up his run and RBI totals throughout the season.
