Price holds brief Twitter 'media session' to give update on rehab
David Price is cutting out the middle man.
The Boston Red Sox left-hander took to Twitter on Tuesday to provide an update on his rehab from an elbow injury suffered during spring training.
Threw 45 pitches (all 4 pitches) in pen yesterday. Up and down 3 times with 8 minutes in between each 15 pitches session. Felt great after

While the method Price used to update his status was somewhat unconventional, his message was an optimistic one for the Red Sox, considering he backed off his recovery progress last week after experiencing soreness.
Price failed to give any information on what the plan is moving forward, but manager John Farrell provided his own update later on.
"The workload has ramped up," Farrell said, according to Christopher Smith of Masslive.com. "The intensity has been very good on his part with the bullpen sessions. So like I said, moving in the right direction."
