Watch: Harper snaps 1-for-26 vs. nemesis Harvey with huge blast

Ahead of Friday's game at Citi Field, Washington Nationals Dusty Baker noted that "the law of averages is on Bryce (Harper)'s side" with respect to his struggles against New York Mets right-hander Matt Harvey, who had held the 2015 National League MVP to one hit in 26 at-bats.

Very apt, skip.

In the first inning of the series opener in Queens, Harper exorcised his Harvey-inspired demons, launching a two-run bomb to center field off the 28-year-old for his seventh home run of the 2017 campaign.

Harper, who carried a 1.333 OPS into Friday's contest, has five homers in his last five games.
