Reds question if Thames is from Earth after out-of-this-world performance

The Cincinnati Reds are ready for Eric Thames to go back to his home planet now - or at least get out of the National League Central.

Thames has single-handily clubbed the Reds this season, with the Milwaukee Brewers slugger hitting .455/.571/1.545 with eight home runs and 13 RBIs in six games.

While Thames' performance has led some to speculate that he may be using performance-enhancing substances - accusations Thames welcomes performing a drug test in order to disprove - the Reds believe something else might be going on.

The Reds wrap up their series with the Brewers on Wednesday and won't have to face Thames again until June 27, and they'll certainly hope he's cooled off by then.
