Watch: Zimmerman hits Nationals' 2nd grand slam of the night

Jason Getz / USA TODAY Sports

How do you follow up a monster Bryce Harper grand slam? With a grand slam of your own, of course.

After Harper's moonshot, Ryan Zimmerman hit an oppo-taco grand slam of his own to propel the Washington Nationals to a 11-3 lead against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night. Baseball rules mercifully ended the game at nine innings, with the Nationals winning 14-4.

It's the first time two players on the same team hit a grand slam since September 11, 2015, when Nolan Reimold and Steve Clevenger led the Baltimore Orioles to a 14-8 victory over the Kansas City Royals, according to Baseball-reference.

It's also just the third time in franchise history the Nationals have hit a pair of grand slams, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
