Nationals' Ryan Zimmerman: Homers again Thursday

Zimmerman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, his second long ball of the season, in Thursday's 4-3, extra-innings loss to the Marlins.

Analysis:

He very nearly got to play the hero, as Zimmerman's eighth-inning blast to straightaway center field off Junichi Tazawa briefly gave the Nats the lead before their bullpen fell apart. The 32-year-old is now slashing an eye-popping .417/.462/1.000 through the first three games of the season, but he'll need to sustain some success at the plate before he'll become a trustworthy roster option in shallower fantasy leagues.
