Marlins' A.J. Ellis: Returns to lineup Tuesday

Ellis (hamstring) went 1-for-3 with a run scored during Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Nationals.

Analysis:

Ellis missed extended time with a hamstring strain this spring but seems to have made a full recovery as he played five innings in a minor-league game over the weekend and started Tuesday's Grapefruit League contest. He'll open the season as the primary backup catcher to J.T. Realmuto.
