Nationals' Daniel Murphy: Out with illness
Murphy has missed the last two days dealing with an illness, Mark Zuckerman of MASNsports.com reports.
Analysis:
Tuesday will mark the second day the illness has kept Murphy out, though It's unclear how much longer he will be sidelined. The 31-year-old should be considered day-to-day until the Nationals note otherwise. Murphy still has work to do at the plate to get ready for Opening Day after barely playing at the WBC, though manager Dusty Baker said he still expects him to be in the season-opening lineup, according to Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post.
