Dodgers' Kazmir to begin season on DL with hip injury

This had increasingly become the expectation over the last few days, as manager Dave Roberts recently expressed that Kazmir is still in the process of rehabbing his injured hip. The veteran is struggling with his velocity, and the Dodgers appear prepared to allow him to work things out for the first couple of weeks of the season before rejoining the club. Look for the 33-year-old to make his season debut later sometime in mid-to-late April.
