Mariners' Nelson Cruz: Back in clubhouse Monday

Cruz (illness) returned to the clubhouse Monday and plans to participate in an individual workout, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Analysis:

Cruz has been out with the same head cold that has sidelined Robinson Cano, though they both resumed working out on Monday. The 36-year-old is being held out of Monday's spring lineup, but the fact that he's back in camp indicates he'll return shortly.
