Cubs' Jason Heyward: Has manager's confidence
Cubs manager Joe Maddon said he likes Heyward's approach "a lot" and is confident the results will come for the struggling outfielder, Gordon Wittenmyer of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Analysis:
Heyward is batting just .152 this spring, but he did homer Saturday and drew three walks Sunday. "The results are going to eventually show up; I absolutely believe that," Maddon said. ''I could see it all coming together for him.'' Heyward figures to have a relatively long leash due to his Gold Glove defense in the outfield, but fantasy owners should probably temper their expectations for his offensive output.
