Giants' Eduardo Nunez: Joins lineup Sunday

Nunez (shoulder) is batting leadoff as the designated hitter during Sunday's Cactus League game against the White Sox, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Analysis:

Nunez has been bothered by shoulder tightness throughout camp and was forced to miss a few days after receiving a cortisone shot Wednesday. The fact that he's able to hit Sunday is a good sign, but the team still hopes he'll be able to take the field on defense prior to the season's start.
