Royals' Eric Hosmer: Returns to action Sunday

Hosmer (elbow) is batting fourth and playing first base during Sunday's Cactus League game against the Angels, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.

Analysis:

Hosmer was hit by a pitch in the elbow during the World Baseball Classic and suffered some swelling. It appears that the swelling has subsided enough for him to return to live action.
