Mariners' Shae Simmons: Still not throwing from mound

Simmons (forearm) continues to nurse a sore forearm and he has only been playing catch and not working from a mound, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Simmons might not be ready for Opening Day at this rate, but he could eventually be a useful option in the Mariners bullpen sooner rather than later.
