Twins' Jason Castro: Having strong spring

Castro went 1-for-2 in Friday's spring training tie with Baltimore. He's hitting .292 (7-for-24) with a home run this spring.

Analysis:

Castro will begin the season as the starting catcher as he looks healthy and in regular-season form this spring. The bigger question will be how much he sits against left-handed pitching with right-handed Chris Gimenez likely to be his backup. Castro has struggled against lefties in his career with just a .478 OPS against left-handed pitching last season.
