Yankees' Adam Warren: Vying for rotation spot

Warren has a 3.09 ERA and six strikeouts in four appearances (three starts) in Grapefruit League action.

Analysis:

The Yankees appear to have a wide open competition for the final two spots in the rotation, as none of the candidates have created much separation this spring. Warren has actually fared among the best of the group, but New York has shown a tendency in the past of preferring to use the versatile 29-year-old in more of a swing role, which could result in the righty heading to the bullpen regardless of his Grapefruit League performance.
