Brewers' Travis Shaw: Swinging a hot bat this spring

Shaw went 10-for-21 (.476) with two home runs, three doubles, and five RBI over his last seven spring games and owns a 1.123 OPS during the exhibition season.

Analysis:

Shaw has adjusted well since joining his new team over the offseason and has found a home in the middle of the Brewers' batting order. Shaw struggled mightily against left-handers last season (.599 OPS) and thus is unlikely to be in the lineup often against southpaws, but he has handled them well so far this spring, posting a .946 OPS over -- albeit a small sample size -- 16 plate appearances.
