Dodgers' Corey Seager: No discomfort in minor league game

Seager (oblique) said he felt no discomfort in his side while serving as DH in Tuesday's minor league contest, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports,

Analysis:

Seager went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts, but the fact that he got through three at-bats without any discomfort is the bigger takeaway. He'll take off Wednesday before he progresses to five innings of work at shortstop in Thursday's minor league game. The Dodgers will continue to be cautious with the 22-year-old, but if he is able to avoid any setbacks through the rest of spring, he should have enough time to be ready for Opening Day.
