Greg Bird says his cat is related to Mr. Bigglesworth from 'Austin Powers'

New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird is claiming that his cat, named Mr. Delicious, is a grandson of Mr. Bigglesworth from the "Austin Powers" films.

The 24-year-old adopted "Lish" (as he is affectionately-known) last summer while on the mend from a shoulder injury. While therapy cats are a relatively new practice, if Bird comes back strong in 2017, perhaps Mr. Delicious can share some accolades.
