Dodgers' Scott Kazmir: Throws bullpen session

Kazmir (hip) threw a successful bullpen session Tuesday, but isn't scheduled to see game action yet, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

Analysis:

Kazmir used the session to continue refining his mechanics, which he thinks could be the cause of his ailment. The Dodgers will likely continue to exercise extreme caution with the veteran starter, even after he received a clean MRI last week. Although it's hard to pinpoint a return date without a definitive timetable in place, Kazmir's status for Opening Day may very well be up in the air.
