Mets' Matt Harvey: Neck poses no problem in bullpen session

Harvey (neck) pitched a bullpen session Wednesday and reportedly had no issues with his neck, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Pitching coach Dan Warthen also thought the outing went well, and given the lack of pain in his neck, it appears that Harvey should be good to go for his scheduled appearance Friday. The Mets will likely be cautious with their injury-riddled starter moving forward, but it's good to see Harvey getting back into game action nonetheless.
