Marlins' Ichiro Suzuki: Takes BP on Friday

Suzuki (back/quad) took some batting practice in a cage and played catch Friday, the Sun-Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

The Marlins are in no rush to get the 43-year-old back onto the field, but it looks like Suzuki won't have any lingering issues following his collision with Brandon Barnes earlier this week. He should once again be the team's fourth outfielder in 2017, with his fantasy value tied tightly to Giancarlo Stanton's ability to stay off the DL.
