Yankees' Adam Warren: Role remains up in the air

Warren will get a chance to earn a rotation spot in the spring, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Analysis:

With two rotation spots unaccounted for, Warren will compete with Luis Cessa, Chad Green, Bryan Mitchell, and Luis Severino. The 29-year-old has by far the most experience out of the bullpen among the five though, so the Yankees may be more comfortable deploying the righty in more of a swing role similar to the one he's occupied the past few seasons. Though he's proven to be a valuable piece for the club in that capacity in the past, there won't be much appeal from a fantasy perspective if Warren does indeed wind up back in the bullpen.
