White Sox's Todd Frazier: Injury improving
Manager Rick Renteria said that Frazier (oblique) is feeling much better Thursday, but that they'll continue to take the cautious approach with his return to action.
Analysis:
Frazier incurred the injury while swinging on Monday, but this development is consistent with the club's thought that the issue is actually fairly minor. Oblique injuries are never something to scoff at given their notoriously lengthy recovery times, but it seems that the third baseman dodged a bullet in this instance. Nonetheless, he'll continue to take things slowly given the extended length of spring training, so don't be surprised if he sits out a bit longer just to avoid aggravating it further.
