Justin Verlander was apparently more than satisfied with fiancee Kate Upton's tirade following his Cy Young snub.

The Sports Illustrated cover model set off a social media frenzy in November when she directed a profanity-laced outburst at Cy Young voters after Boston Red Sox starter Rick Porcello won the award, even though Verlander received nearly double the amount of first-place votes.

According to Upton, her husband-to-be enjoyed the rant.

"I had to write it so fast because he wasn't even off TV yet," she said on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." "I was like, 'Oh I have to write it before he edits me!' I think his first reaction was a little bit surprised that I had already sent (the tweets), but overall he loved it.

"I just think that the MLB should really plan ahead … maybe prepare their writers."

Following her initial criticism, Upton later went after the writers responsible for the snub, implying they had been "paid off" to award Porcello the prize.
