Brewers' Taylor Williams: Holds clean bill of health to start spring

Williams (elbow) is entering spring training healthy, but manager Craig Counsell said he will be brought along slowly in an effort to build up his arm strength, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

The right-hander missed the past two seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2015, but he seems to be all systems go as he enters his second stint in big league spring training. However, the Brewers want to continue taking the cautious approach with him and will keep Williams throwing bullpen sessions without worrying about what role he'll play upon his return or at what level his innings will take place. He'll likely see some game action this spring, though.
