Brewers' Keon Broxton: Wrist has healed

Broxton said Saturday that his broken wrist has healed and he is good to go for spring training, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports.

Analysis:

The center fielder said it took longer than expected for his wrist to fully heal. Broxton is a tricky player to evaluate for this season, as he rode a .373 BABIP to a .242/.354/.430 slash line with nine home runs and 23 steals over 244 plate appearances in his first run with an everyday job in the majors. His average exit velocity supports a high BABIP and his speed is definitely legit, but a 25.7 percent HR/FB rate should be difficult to sustain.
