Marlins' Hunter Cervenka: Not guaranteed bullpen spot

Cervenka isn't a lock to make the Marlins' bullpen, despite being the only left-hander in the mix with much relief experience, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Analysis:

Acquired from the Braves late last season, Cervenka appeared in 68 games in 2016 as a rookie and posted solid, if not exactly spectacular, numbers as a lefty specialist. Marlins manager Don Mattingly said Tuesday that he isn't committed to carrying a LOOGY, however, and with seven bullpen spots seemingly locked up after the front office's offseason moves, Cervenka will have to outpitch his right-handed competition to win the final vacancy.
