The trial date for Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jung Ho Kang - who was arrested in December for leaving the scene of a DUI accident in Seoul, South Korea - has reportedly been set for Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. local time, according to Yonhap News Agency.

Kang must appear in court, but may submit a formal document asking for the date to be pushed back in order for him to attend spring training.

The December incident - caught with dash cam footage - was the third DUI arrest for the 29-year-old, who recently agreed to participate in an alcohol treatment program.

Pittsburgh's position players are set to report to spring camp on Feb. 16 in Bradenton, Fla., with the first workout scheduled for Feb. 17.

Kang appeared in 103 games for the Pirates last season, hitting .255/.354/.513 with 21 home runs and 62 RBIs. He previously finished third in 2015 NL Rookie of the Year voting.
