The Milwaukee Brewers appear close to shoring up their bullpen depth.
Though many teams are said to be in the mix for Neftali Feliz, the right-handed reliever is reportedly close to a deal with the Brewers, sources close to the situation told Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.
Feliz is coming off a bounce-back season with the Pittsburgh Pirates where he posted a 3.52 ERA in 62 relief appearances in 2016 while also recording two saves. The former AL Rookie of the Year also pitched seven seasons with the Texas Rangers from 2009-15 before signing midway through the 2015 season as a free agent with the Detroit Tigers.
In 308 career games, the Dominican right-hander owns a 3.22 ERA and 1.10 WHIP.
