If Noah Syndergaard's new year's resolution was to cause an enormous stir on social media, he may have already succeeded.

A day after garnering significant attention by calling Bryce Harper a douche on Instagram, Syndergaard decided he wasn't going to stop there. The 24-year-old ace took to Twitter and captioned "Douche" on a link to a picture featuring him wearing a crown and sunglasses.

It's unclear who Syndergaard is talking about in the latest tweet, but all signs are pointing to a little self-deprecation - perhaps in an attempt to make light of the Harper incident.

Syndergaard referred to Harper as a douche - a comment he later deleted - after Barstool Sports uploaded a video of Harper expressing his support of the Ohio State Buckeyes by shouting "Saturdays are for the boys."

Harper has yet to comment on the matter, but you can bet social media will eagerly wait for any response.
