Trout surprises Eagles players with Nike shoes, personalized cards

Some Philadelphia Eagles players were apparently on Mike Trout's nice list this holiday season.

The Los Angeles Angels outfielder and baseball's MVP was in a giving mood recently, as he gifted members of the NFL side who wear Nike shoes their own Eagles-themed pairs, topping off the gift with a card featuring a portrait of the 25-year-old himself:

Trout, a noted Eagles fan, decided on the presents after going hunting over the Christmas break with quarterback Carson Wentz.

"We just kind of hung out and went hunting - nothing real crazy," Wentz told Zach Berman of Philly.com on Wednesday. "He's a great guy. It's been cool getting to know him."

Wentz may have topped Trout's gift with his own, however, surprising his side with their own custom Beretta shotguns for the holidays.
