Poll: Where does Encarnacion rank among all-time best Blue Jays

Dan Hamilton / USA TODAY Sports

The Toronto Blue Jays officially closed the door with a franchise icon on Thursday, as free-agent slugger Edwin Encarnacion reportedly agreed to a three-year, $60-million deal with the Cleveland Indians.

Encarnacion emerged as one of the most feared hitters in baseball during his eight seasons in Toronto, finishing his time with 239 homers, three All-Star appearances, and countless trots around the bases with an imaginary parrot.

The former trade throw-in turned Blue Jays icon, Encarnacion departs the franchise ranking 12th in games played, 11th in hits, 10th in doubles, sixth in RBIs, fourth in OPS, and third in home runs.

With Encarnacion's time in Toronto coming to an end, where does the 33-year-old rank on the franchise's all-time list among fellow greats Roberto Alomar, George Bell, Joe Carter, Carlos Delgado, Tony Fernandez, and Dave Stieb?
