Dodgers' Tyler Holt: Heads to Dodgers on minor league deal

Holt signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Holt spent the entire 2016 season in the big leagues with Cincinnati, although he was outrighted upon the season's conclusion after batting .235 in his limited opportunities. Between this and the more established options the Dodgers have in place across the outfield, the 27-year-old seems destined for an organizational depth role.
