Twins' Brian Dozier: Feels healthy

Dozier (oblique) plans to start taking swings later this month, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Analysis:

Dozier took two months off following the end of the regular season in order to allow his oblique injury to heal. The slugging second baseman's future with the Twins is currently uncertain, as he has been the center of many trade rumors this offseason. It's possible he finds himself in a more advantageous situation next season, but it will be hard for him to improve upon what was likely a career year in 2016.
