Report: Mets, Blue Jays inquiring about Ziegler

The New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays are looking at adding a unique arm to their bullpens.
Submarine pitcher Brad Ziegler is reportedly among the relievers the Mets have checked in on, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post. The Blue Jays are also among the "many" teams that have asked about him, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports.
The 37-year-old Ziegler used his wonky delivery to post a combined 2.25 ERA over 68 innings last season, split between the Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks.
He was especially dominant for the Red Sox - who acquired him at the trade deadline - recording a 1.52 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 29 innings.
A nine-year veteran, Ziegler has spent six of those season with the Diamondbacks.
