David Forst isn't done remodeling his side just yet.

After agreeing on a two-year, $11-million deal with corner outfielder Matt Joyce, the Oakland Athletics general manager revealed the club is exploring options through possible trades and free agents to fill out the outfield's final missing piece.

"We're still looking for a center fielder," Forst said, according to Jane Lee of MLB.com.

The Athletics are expected to be in a rebuilding mode for the next few seasons, with Danny Valencia's trade earlier this month signifying a desire to give their younger players more playing time, and the club is unlikely to pursue top targets such as Dexter Fowler or Andrew McCutchen due to their price tag.

Though Forst did mention the club could aim to solve the center-field vacancy with in-house candidates such as Brett Eibner and Jake Smolinski, the Athletics executive was overt about the team's need to improve.

"We're in a position where we know we need to build and get better," Forst said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser.
