After already winning the 2016 Cy Young award, Boston Red Sox right-hander Rick Porcello has more hardware to add to his mantle after being named the American League Comeback Player of the Year on Tuesday.

Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon took home the award in the National League.

The 27-year-old Porcello led the majors with 22 wins, alongside a career-best 3.15 ERA during his second season in Beantown. The eight-year veteran also tossed a career-high 223 innings en route to his first Cy Young.

After appearing in just 80 games during the 2015 campaign, Rendon nearly doubled that total, playing 156 games for the NL West-division champion Nationals.

During 647 plate appearances, Rendon swatted 20 home runs, drove in 85 RBIs, and posted a .797 OPS. He also gave his team above-average defense, recording a plus-8 in defensive runs saved.

Prince Fielder (AL) and Matt Harvey (NL) won the awards in 2015.
