Ross, Revere headline MLB non-tender list

San Diego Padres right-hander Tyson Ross and Washington Nationals outfielder Ben Revere were added to Major League Baseball's free-agent pool on Friday with the passing of the non-tender deadline.

Considered one of the Padres' top pitchers and trade chips heading into the 2016 season, Ross was limited to one start last season due to injury and underwent shoulder surgery in October. He was projected to earn $9.6 million in arbitration this winter in the final year of his deal.

Club's had until 8 p.m. ET to tender contracts to their arbitration eligible players. Those who weren't tendered contracts will now become free agents.
