Although his name has prominently been featured among trade rumors this offseason, Detroit Tigers outfielder J.D. Martinez isn't going to let the speculation stop him from enjoying his time off.
Martinez took a trip to the San Diego Zoo on Sunday and took a selfie with a giraffe, which he shared on Instagram.
A trade for the 29-year-old Martinez has reportedly been discussed by the San Francisco Giants after three straight seasons of 20-plus home runs where he posted an .898 OPS.
