Padres' Andrew Lockett: Added to 40-man roster

Lockett was added to the Padres' 40-man roster Friday.

Analysis:

Lockett pitched at four different levels in 2016 -- finishing the year with a three-start run for Triple-A El Paso. His career 6.7 K/9 won't excite those in long-term keeper leagues, but Lockett is just 22 years old and he continues to trim his walk rate with each passing season (down to 1.3 BB/9 this past season).
