The Toronto Blue Jays have added to their depth charts by agreeing to terms on a deal with left-hander Brett Oberholtzer, reports Jon Heyman of FanRagSports.

It's a minor-league deal, according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, which includes an invitation to spring training.

Oberholtzer became a free agent in November after being outrighted off the Los Angeles Angels' 40-man roster. He posted a 8.55 ERA in 11 appearances for the club last season.

The 27-year-old southpaw split 2016 between the Angels and the Philadelphia Phillies, posting a 5.89 ERA across 37 appearances and 70 1/3 innings of work, which included two starts.

Over the course of his four-year career, he owns a 14-23 record with a 4.36 ERA over 82 appearances, 44 of which were starts.
